How quickly time passes...

Wow, where has the time gone. Its been a whole month since I've updated this! I guess my new job is keeping me busier than I thought. Makes sense, my last post was on the 20 of July that same afternoon I got a call about a new job starting the next morning and I've been here ever since. The job itself is great and so is the company, I really can't complain. I just home they'll be keeping me. Unfortunately I can't move forward on the adoption process of the house search until I know that my job is permanent and past the initial probation phase.

On the home front things have been great. Fiji, turned 1 year old a few weeks ago, she's been great, except for a couple of accidents in the house these past couple weeks. I guess its her way of protesting against the fact that I'm not spending every waking moment with her. Again, I can't complain, being able to home office for the entire first year we had her was a blessing. Although I feel like I'm going through withdrawal. On weekends Fiji and I are usual the first ones up so we get to spend a couple of hours together, just me and her own the coach while I catch up on knitting and the TV shows I taped during the week. The hubby's new job is going great too, this week he passed the 3 month mark and they are very happy with his work and will be keeping him, not that we're surprised, but it was till nice to hear.

Taking public transit this month has had it benefits too, I managed to finish two books in the past three weeks. I'm a particularly slow reader and tend to start too many books at once and not finish any. So its nice to have two of them on my shelf that have been read from cover to cover.

I guess thats about it for now, its Friday, and even though the day has just started I'm looking forward to five o'clock. Its will be a nice weekend at home, parents are coming for dinner and to play games on Saturday afternoon. I guess tonight we'll attack the laundry and cleaning so we can enjoy the weekend. Maybe Sunday will be spent with my big sis, her hubby and the little one. The little one is growing so fast, I need to take some new pictures of him, the old ones don't look like him anymore!
