Things that make me happy...

My puppy, Fiji, she'll be 1 year old on August 4th. Can't believe how quickly the year has gone by. It seems like just yesterday that I brought her home. We're very lucky to have her.

Another thing that seems to put a smile on my face lately is gardening. Keep in mind there isn't much that can be done on my little balcony but I was able to squeeze in two tomato plants, 3 dahlias, and about a dozen herbs. There is much to sit out there anymore but thats ok, it was lost space anyways. Today my first two tomatoes were ready for picking. Its a cherry tomato variety called yellow pair. Why, because they're yellow, and have a pair shape, an oh so cute. They're about 1-1 1/2 inches long.

The stress of looking for a job these past few months has been more than I can bare, these are just a few of the things that keep me distracted, and smiling. Baking helps too :)
