Fall is upon us...

The seasons have definitely changed, there is a cool dampness to the weather lately that really gets into your bones. The type of chill that makes it perfect for wrapping yourself up in a bulky knitted blanket or shawl and curling up on the coach with the dogs and some knitting. Unfortunately there hasn't been much time for knitting lately but I suspect that this will change soon as my schedule at works seems to be settling down. I've spent the past two weeks over worked, tired and with a lingering cold. Gabriel and I got sick about the same time two weeks ago when I was working crazy hours. Mine however never actually developed I just have the odd sore throat here and there.

This past weekend we had a harvest dinner with some friends, of course seeing as Gabo was sick I was flying solo but nonetheless I had a good time. The amounts of food were endless, it just kept coming. Which I must admit, I'm partially responsible for that, 7 loaves of bread for 12 people might have been a bit much.

It did however give me an opportunity to develop some delicious recipes, some of which I will try to type up and post.

Aside from that all is well, time is passing by way to quickly. I can't seem to figure out where its going. Oh well, back to work for now...
