A new puppy, her name is Fiji. We're not sure what bread she is. About a week ago two puppies were dropped off in our friends backyard in the middle of the night. A brother and sister. Unfortunately they couldn't keep the puppies as they already have a 95 pound golden retriever of their own, who believe it or not was amazing with the puppies. When I went over to see the puppies I instantly fell in love.
I've tried photographing her over the past two days but she doesn't sit still long enough. Its funny when she was with her brother she was definitely the energetic one but now that we brought her home she's quite calm. We've had only two accidents in the house, she's been very easy to house train so far... knock on wood.
There seems to be an air of curiosity around the house, the cat (Lara) and dog (Dolce) are quite curious about the presence of the new puppy. Dolce seems to be a tad jealous at time but we're hoping it will pass. Lara on the other enjoyed lying with on the bed so she could see into Fiji's cage while she was sleeping.
In the mean time I'm enjoying the snuggling time with Fiji and trying to get some good pictures of her. It definitely livens up a house hold to bring home a new puppy... in a good way that is.
