Well this post goes a little beyond my kitchen but none the less there is quite a bit of food and cooking involved. I've just come back from a 3-day camping trip in the Adirondack Mountains, Saranac Lake area to be more precis. What was supposed to be a 5-day trip got cut down to 3 due to an overwhelming amount of rain and forecasted thunderstorms. At camping trip finished at the Sheraton Burlington, with a small excursion to the outlet malls in Essex :)
It was a long drive down, especially since we left at 5 am, I had been up since 2 am to bake the sticky caramel rolls we enjoyed on the way down. Despite the weather there were quite a few culinary treasures all long the way that I wanted to share as well as some picture I took on the island where we camped.
